Grayson Lake – “The swim beach at Bruin, which is operated by the Kentucky Department of State Parks, is CLOSED until further notice.  Swimming is not permitted at the Bruin beach or from any state park land.  However, swimming is allowed on the rest of the lake, except boat ramps and areas with posted restrictions.  Also, cliff jumping/diving is not permitted on Grayson Lake.” – US Army Corps

Lake Vesuvius – Big Bend Beach

Timbre Ridge Lake – “Swimming is allowed at your own risk. You may not swim from the dam or the boat launch. The parking area, dam, and boat ramp are closed from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. unless you are fishing or camping at Timbre Ridge Lake. Please do not block gate or launching spur access for private land owners. Possession of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on the dam, the boat launch, on the lake, and within 100′ of the lakeshore and in the parking lots.” – US Forest Service
